Kenneth Hagin noted that when he was reading a comment on the quote by another author who said “why this is (John Wesley’s quote) I do not know”. The chapters in this book on the lost art of prayer covers the following: The first chapter is about WHY PRAY? The author quoted John Wesley who said “it seems God is limited by our prayer life – He can do nothing for humanity unless someone asks him”. The book was first released under the title The Art of Intercession before it was changed, because intercession is only a type of prayer but the scope of the book covers more kinds of prayer, this re-edited version reflects some of the additional illumination the author received over the few years with the desire to stir believers to commit themselves to prayer so that the purpose of God can be consummated in the earth.
